During 2020, when a lot of folks had a lot of downtime a life-long dream was crystalised between two life-long friends. To create a movie. Not just a short, if this was going to be done, it would be a feature!

The writing began. Genre and market research was undertaken. Finances were raised, and a crew assembled. It's fair to say we cut our teeth on this one. One half of the partnership was a Telecoms Sales Manager, the other was a producer of corporate video and multimedia.

The success of the project was in the ability to get value out of every penny in our £7.5k budget. Early on we knew the crew would be a small, one unit team - there would be a limited to what we could achieve, so rewrites and problem solving on set were key.

We filmed the 1 hour 24 min final piece over 9 days in 2023, at over 15 locations with a main cast of just 9 and a crew of 7. Post-release, the final film was accepted into 4 international film festivals and came in as semi-finalist in Melbourne.
