PageGroup is a global FTSE 250 recruitment company and has a perception of being a little bit on the corporate side. When it came to video it was no different. Advice and tip videos were usually created with voice over and stock footage, however, there was a wealth of talented individuals within the business who could deliver the advice in a far more engaging format.

The design of the video series needed to be fun, non-corporate, engaging and informative. I chose to build out the set with a distinctive vlog feel – from the lighting and scene dressing to the intro and motion graphic pieces. I adopted jump cuts and brought out the company’s brighter colour palette to deliver what has been a huge, runaway success for the channel; receiving requests for the format from other regions and performing better in watch figures (500%+) compared with the average on the channel.
